14 Jan (HS): Narendra Kashyap, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for

Backward Classes Welfare and Disabled Empowerment, met with the family of the

deceased youth Sonu Kashyap on Wednesday and expressed his condolences

following the tragic incident of his murder in the Sardhana area of ​​Meerut

district. The Minister consoled the family and assured them that the state

government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, stands

firmly with the victim's family and will ensure strict action against the

culprits.

Narendra Kashyap directed the police and administrative officials present at

the scene to conduct an impartial, thorough, and prompt investigation of the

incident. He stated that the Yogi government operates under the rule of law and

a zero-tolerance policy, and no criminal will be spared. Whoever is guilty will

be brought to justice and strict action will be taken against them, ensuring

justice for the victim's family.

Narendra Kashyap provided personal financial assistance of Rs. one lakh to the

family of the deceased Sonu. He also assured the family that all legal

assistance and facilities available from the government would be provided. He

stated that the government's objective is not only to punish the criminals, but

also to provide support and confidence to the families of the victims.

On

this occasion, Minister Narendra Kashyap said that while some people try to

politicize such incidents, the Yogi government stands with the victims with

sensitivity and takes concrete action. He said that maintaining law and order

in the state is the government's top priority and that the safety of the public

will not be compromised in any way. Minister Kashyap expressed confidence that

through administrative action, the victim's family will receive swift justice

and the rule of law will be further strengthened in the state.
