Morigaon (Assam), 30 August (HS): The Indian Farmers’ Union celebrated Bhagwan Balram Jayanti at Gandhi Bhawan auditorium in Morigaon district on Saturday. The event witnessed the participation of nearly a thousand farmers, both men and women.

Senior officials and agricultural scientists from the agriculture and animal husbandry departments attended the program. During the celebration, officials explained various government schemes and benefits available for farmers.

On this occasion, 13 progressive farmers from Morigaon district were specially felicitated for their contributions to agriculture.-------
