Tumakur, 22 May (H.S.) : The raids and searches conducted by Enforcement Directorate officials at Siddhartha Educational Institutions owned by Karnataka Home Minister Dr. G Parameshwara in Tumkurhave continued today also.

Meanwhile, sources said that the ED raided Siddhartha Educational Institutions on the charge of transferring Rs 40 lakh to the account of actress Ranya Rao, who is in jail in a gold smuggling case.

It is alleged that Rs 40 lakh was transferred to Ranya Rao's credit card through Siddhartha Educational Institution Trust on the instructions of an influential person. Based on this, Enforcement Directorate officials have raided a total of 16 places, sources said.
