Hubli/Delhi, May 11 (H.S.): After the ceasefire declaration, Union Minister for Food and Civil Supplies, Prahlad Joshi, criticized Pakistan's attacks and its contradictory stance. He emphasized that the Indian Army has responded robustly to Pakistan's dual approach and has been granted the liberty for retaliatory actions.Currently, the Indian Army is actively targeting terrorist hideouts in Pakistan, having destroyed several in response to the Pahalgam incident and eliminating key terrorists.

Joshi highlighted that Pakistan has historically pursued a duplicitous policy towards India and that it is evident the Pakistani military disregards civilian authority. He remarked that the government’s firm positioning against terrorism marks a decisive change; notably, Pakistan had previously acknowledged terrorism as a war before the ceasefire, making its subsequent violations significant.

The Minister pointed out that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, terrorism in India has significantly decreased compared to the rampant activities from the 1980s. Following the Pahalgam attack, there is a renewed unity across the nation against terrorism. Joshi affirmed that while India seeks peace and is not an aggressor, it will respond fiercely to any attack, ensuring that aggressors will be met with resilience and strength, solidifying India's commitment to national security.
