Lucknow, April 5 (HS): After the IPL 2025 match between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Mumbai Indians, LSG captain Rishabh Pant and bowler Digvesh Singh faced fines for code of conduct violations.

The match, held at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, saw LSG incur a slow over rate, marking their first offense of the season. This led to a ₹12 lakh fine for Rishabh Pant under Article 2.22 related to minimum over rates.

Additionally, Digvesh Singh was fined 50 percent of his match fee for celebrating with a notebook after taking a wicket, which resulted in two demerit points due to his second Level One offense; he had already received one point for a similar celebration against Punjab Kings. Match referee decisions are final in such cases.
