Ayodhya,

28 April (HS): A Muslim man married a woman in Ayodhya's Ramnagar neighborhood

while claiming to be Hindu. He married

her by claiming to be a Hindu, and when a boy was born, he began forcing her

for circumcision, revealing the reality.

After around six years of marriage, he began to pressure her to convert.

When she resisted, he beat her and fled. The police have filed a complaint

against the accused and are conducting an investigation. In her complaint

letter to CO City, the woman stated that a woman from her neighborhood used to

pay visits to her home. The woman

presented herself to a young man while pretending to be Hindu.

One

day, a young man raped her while giving her a cold drink filled with

intoxicants. He documented it on

video. Later, he proposed marriage to

her. They were married in the Devkali

temple and began living on rent in the Ramnagar neighborhood. Meanwhile, the

accused began to exhibit nasty conduct. He started prohibiting women from

worshiping. When she gave birth to her

daughter, he informed her that he was Muslim.

In protest, he threatened to make her video public and beat her. When she gave birth to a boy on October 28,

2024, the accused forced her to circumcise him and convert to Islam. When she declined, he beat her up and fled

with the lady who had introduced him on November 24, 2024.

On

April 7, the accused attempted to murder her by striking her scooter with a

vehicle near the Pateshwari Devi Temple. CO City Shailendra Singh stated that a

case of religious conversion is being filed based on the complaint. The victim's statement and evidence will be

used to determine the next course of action.
