Dhaka, April 19 (HS): The killings of Hindus in Bangladesh show no signs of stopping. Now, a prominent leader of the Hindu community and Vice President of the Biral unit of the Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Parishad, Bhabesh Chandra Ray, has been beaten to death. This incident has created an atmosphere of anger and fear within the Hindu community in Bangladesh.

Bhabesh Chandra Ray lived with his family in Dinajpur, northern Bangladesh. According to a Reports, the incident occurred around 5 PM on Friday. At that time, the criminals called Ray and informed him that they were nearby. Just 30 minutes later, four men arrived on two motorcycles and abducted him from his home. They took him to Narabari village, where he was severely beaten. Somehow escaping from the clutches of the criminals, Ray reached home injured and subsequently lost consciousness. Family members rushed him to the hospital, but the doctors declared him dead. Abdus Sabur, in charge of the Biral police station in Bangladesh, stated that the search for the accused is underway.

Bhabesh Chandra Ray was considered one of the leading Hindu leaders in Bangladesh. He had protested strongly whenever Hindus faced oppression, and he had received threats about facing consequences for his actions multiple times.
