Mumbai, 17 Apr (HS):

Based on information received by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, a

Guinean woman was held at Mumbai Airport with Cocaine worth Rs 21.78 crore. The

DRI, Mumbai branch, checked the luggage of the woman who arrived at Mumbai Airport

and found 2,178 grams of white powder in three packets. On examination using the

field kit, the powder was confirmed to be of the narcotic drug Cocaine.

The woman was

arrested and an offence under NDPS Act 1985 was registered against her. Further

investigation is in progress.
