Kolkata, 15 April (H.S.) -In a dignified ceremony held today, the Bharat Sevashram Sangha Hospital (BSSH) in Joka inaugurated its state-of-the-art Neurorehabilitation Centre. The newly launched facility is poised to offer a renewed ray of hope to patients grappling with strokes and other neurological disorders. Designed to serve not only the local community but also patients from distant regions, the centre promises cutting-edge and holistic rehabilitative care.

A significant yet often behind-the-scenes contributor to this initiative has been the Stroke Foundation Prabaho. The organisation has played a pivotal role in the development of the centre’s services and has been steadfast in its mission to improve the lives of stroke survivors. Their expertise has helped shape the centre into a comprehensive facility offering services such as speech and swallow assessments, physical rehabilitation, vocational rehabilitation, and specialised hand therapy—addressing the multifaceted needs of neurological patients.

The inauguration ceremony also included the felicitation of individuals and organisations whose contributions were crucial in bringing the project to life. Among those honoured was Swami Bramhatmanandaji Maharaj, Secretary of Bharat Sevashram Sangha Hospital, whose compassionate leadership and dedication have been instrumental in elevating the institution's standard of care and service.
