Chennai, 12 April (H.S.): AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami has affirmed the party's commitment to working with NDA allies, particularly the BJP, to build a greater Tamil Nadu.

Palaniswami expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his support, highlighting a shared vision for the state's progress and a determination to provide a transparent, development-focused government free from dynastic politics and corruption.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah confirmed that the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections would be contested under the leadership of PM Modi nationally and Edappadi K. Palaniswami at the state level.

The BJP aims to strengthen its position in Tamil Nadu, while the AIADMK seeks to regain its footing after its alliance with the BJP post-2016, despite a brief separation in 2023.
