Yadav, born on March 25, 1965, in Ujjain district, was the co-secretary of the Madhav Science College Students' Union in 1982. In 1988, he was made the co-minister of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad in Madhya Pradesh. He has been actively associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. He was first elected as a member of the legislative assembly in 2013.
