Udaipur, 7 February (HS): Udaipur City District Congress Committee and Udaipur Rural District Congress Committee jointly protested against the Central Government against the inhumane deportation of Indian citizens from America to India.
Congress leaders strongly opposed this, calling it the failed foreign policy of the Modi Government at the Centre. During the protest, Congress leaders said that Indian citizens are being treated inhumanely in America and the Central Government is remaining a mute spectator. They alleged that the Government has failed to ensure the safety of the NRIs.
Congress officials demanded immediate intervention of the Government on this issue and protection of the honour of the NRIs. Udaipur city district Congress president Fateh Singh Rathore, Udaipur rural district Congress president Kachru Lal Chaudhary, PCC vice president Suresh Shrimali, PCC general secretary Pankaj Sharma, Dalpat Singh Chundawat, Sharafat Khan, Arun Tank, Dr. Sanjeev Rajpurohit, block president Someshwar Meena, Ajay Singh, Divyani Katara, former councilor Shankar Chandel, Gaurav Pratap Singh and many other officials and Congress workers were present in the protest.
Congress leaders warned that if the central government does not show seriousness on this issue, the party will protest on a large scale across the country.
