Bhubaneswar, 6 February (H.S.): A day after a goods train derailed in Rourkela, Odisha, and crashed into a residential colony, Indian Railways on Thursday suspended four railway personnel for negligence in their duties. The suspended employees include the Rourkela station manager, loco pilot, guard, and centring employee.

The suspensions were made as part of an ongoing investigation into the cause of the derailment. Railway General Manager Anil Mishra has ordered a thorough inquiry, while the exact cause of the incident has yet to be determined.
