Mumbai, 04 Feb (HS):- Four people were arrested in
connection with circulating fake currency notes. The police arrested them from
Shirpur town in Dhule district and seized fake currency notes of Rs 500
denominations worth Rs 4.11 lakh.
Shirpur Police Inspector K K Patil said that the
four accused were arrested while moving suspiciously in the Khalche
village in Shirpur Tehsil. Search in their bags detected fake currency notes
worth Rs 4.11 lakh. Those arrested have been identified as Pundalik alias
Samadhan Natha Padmore, Piran Subhash Morey, and Rangmal Ratilal Jadjav. Upon
interrogation, they revealed the name of the fourth individual involved in the
scandal. Police then arrested Gaurav Sukdev Thombre. They were offered 20,000
to 30,000 for circulating fake notes worth Rs 1 lakh. Police are searching for
the mastermind of the racket
