NEW DELHI, 22 February (H.S.) : Delhi's Chief Minister
Rekha Gupta was seen in action mood. She held a meeting with officials of
several departments and discussed about the layout plan to fulfill the promises
made in the election manifesto. Also asked the officials to complete them.

Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa also held a meeting with the officials. He said
that promises made in the BJP resolution letter, instructions were
given to prepare a blueprint to provide free cylinders to the people of Delhi
during Holi-Diwali and to make other 10 cylinders available in the year at the
price of Rs 500.
Delhi's new transport
minister Pankaj Kumar Singh said after a meeting with transport department
officials, the BJP-led government will continue the free bus service for
women. Also, public transport will remain free as promised and we are committed
to further improving the facilities. He said, he has received information
that DTC is running in huge losses, it will be investigated and work will be
done to reduce the losses. He said, there should be enough buses for the people
and it will be ensured that they get the buses on time. He assured that free
public transport for women will not be stopped and the government is planning
to bring new things in public transport.
While leaving the meeting,
Rekha Gupta said that the status of the functioning of the departments is being
taken from all the officers, every effort is being made to fulfill the
commitments we have made to the public.
Rekha Gupta said that now
just a day after we came to power, they have started raising questions on our
government. Talking about her party's quick decision making, she said that we
are the ones who in our first cabinet meeting have approved the implementation
of Ayushman Bharat scheme in Delhi.
She also said that on the
same day we took Oath and approved the plan which AAP had put on hold for many
years. She suggested that both the parties should focus on their respective
party issues.
