New Delhi, 21 February (HS): Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah today held an inspiring educational dialogue with students of rural and tribal society of Santokba Dholakia Vidya Mandir of Dang district of Gujarat at Gujarat Bhavan in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. This special program was inspiring for these students and a unique opportunity to share their experiences. This initiative is part of the Union Home Minister's commitment to direct dialogue with the youth and encourage them. This program not only proved to be a source of inspiration for all these students of rural and tribal society, but also gave them an opportunity to openly interact with the Home Minister of the country.

On this occasion, Amit Shah expressed deep thoughts on the role of students in education, youth empowerment and national development. The aim of this dialogue was to inspire the students and resolve their queries related to education and career. While answering the questions of the students, the Home Minister stressed on the importance of hard work, dedication and determination.

The Union Home Minister said that whether it is celebrating Tribal Pride Day or electing Droupadi Murmu as the President of India, these decisions have taken the pride of the tribal society to a new height. He said that the upliftment and empowerment of the tribal society is our priority and after independence, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done the work of giving the tribal society its real respect.

Amit Shah said that students are the basis of the country's progress and their hard work and dedication will take India to new heights. He inspired the students to move forward in careers like doctor, engineer and civil servant. He said that if you make the development of the country your goal, then your personal development will be ensured naturally and that is why your main objective should be to work for the development of the country.

The Home Minister said that the Modi government is providing quality education to tribal students by setting up Eklavya Model Residential Schools in every block with more 50% Scheduled Tribe population and at least 20,000 tribal persons. He said that language has been a barrier for tribal students in medical, engineering and technical education and in view of this, the Modi government has provided the option of taking exams in mother tongue. Shah said that these decisions have given a new hope to tribal students. He said that while there was only one central tribal university in the country in the six decades after independence, in the last decade, 2 new tribal universities have been established in the Modi government.

These students shared their views on education and career with the Home Minister.
