Amravati, 08 Dec (HS): Tribals and maze growing farmers

from Amravati’s Melghat have started a march on foot from Paratwada to reach

Nagpur. The distance of 190 km will be covered on foot in six days. The march

led by social worker Bandya Sane, will reach the Vidhan Bhavan I Nagpur with various

demands.

The major demands include Rs 2,400 per quintal support

price for maze, Certificate as wood workers for Tribals, and facilities of

road, water, electricity and other basic facilities. A memorandum of demands

will be submitted to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
