31 Dec (HS): 1. With reference to the media reports concerning the constr of

bdy wall along the road leading to Subedarganj Railway Station, it is clarified

that the boundary wall is being constructed to safeguard A1 Def Land and to

prevent any encroachment in future.

The construction is being carried out strictly in accordance with the terms and

conditions of land transfer and demarcation mutually agreed upon between the

defence authorities and UPSBCL. The alignment of the boundary and related

details were finalised and communicated as part of the approved land transfer

process.

As per the agreed arrangement, the boundary wall is being constr by UPSBCL on

A1 Def land, in line with the approved plans and statutory provisions. The

defence authorities have adhered to all laid-down procedures and has coord exec

of constr of bdy wall to prevent any ench in future.

Issues relating to road width, traffic regulation, and public convenience in

the adjoining civil areas fall within the purview of the civil adm, who plan

and execute such proj keeping overall public interest in view.

5.

The Defence est remains committed towards constructive civil–military

coordination and successful conduct of events in future.
