
New Delhi, 29 December (H.S.): Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Monday approved two key organizational appointments, reinforcing the party’s outreach and grassroots operations ahead of upcoming political initiative.
Senior Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit has been appointed as the Chairperson of Creative Congress (formerly known as the Outreach Cell), while Rahul Pandey has been designated as the Chief Organizer of the West Bengal Pradesh Congress Seva Dal.
Announcing the appointments through an official release, AICC General Secretary (Organisation) K. C. Venugopal stated that both decisions take effect immediately. He explained that the Creative Congress will function as a dedicated platform focused on engaging with civil society groups, subject experts, academicians, social workers, and issue-based organizations across the country to strengthen people-centric communication.
Venugopal further highlighted that the Seva Dal serves as the disciplinary and social wing of the Indian National Congress, bearing responsibility for advancing the party’s ideology, values, and public welfare programs at the grassroots level.Both appointments, he said, reflect the party leadership’s commitment to broadening civic engagement and reinforcing its organizational structure nationwide.
