Lucknow,

25 Dec (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Thursday that

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is carrying on the legacy of three great leaders

who gave India a new direction: Syama Prasad Mookerjee, Deendayal Upadhyaya,

and Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He

was speaking to a crowd at the Rashtriya Prerna Sthal's opening in honor of

Vajpayee's 101st birth anniversary. It is a proud time for everybody..., he

told those assembled for Modi's memorial ceremony. The legacy of three great

leaders -- Syama Prasad Mookerjee, Deendayal Upadhyaya, and Atal Bihari

Vajpayee -- who gave India a new direction is being carried forward in the

shape of a self-sufficient and developed nation, according to the Uttar Pradesh

Chief Minister.

Adityanath

praised Modi as the saarthi (charioteer) of Amrit Kaal, the builder

of a self-sufficient and prosperous India, and the world's most popular leader.

Paying homage to Vajpayee, he stated that the former prime minister's

statements about a brighter future for India were more than just expressions of

optimism, but reflected his long-term vision, strong faith, and solid

commitment for the country.

The

UP Chief Minister stated that when Vajpayee wrote in his poetry about darkness

lifting, the light rising, and the lotus flowering, he was symbolizing his

unshakeable trust in India's bright future, a vision that is now manifest in

the shape of a developed India. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Uttar Pradesh

Governor Anandiben Patel, and ex-BJP state president Bhupendra Chaudhary were

also in attendance at the ceremony.
