
Kolkata, 24 December (H.S.): Ahead of the upcoming elections, the Trinamool Congress has made significant organizational changes. The ruling party has paid particular attention to Bharatpur area of Murshidabad district. The presidents and vice-presidents of the party's main organization, as well as the youth, women's, and labor (INTTUC) wings, have been replaced in both blocks of Bharatpur. In addition, important changes have also been made in the Ranaghat-2 block and the Ranaghat organizational district of Nadia district.
According to a post released by the Trinamool Congress on Wednesday, Nazrul Islam has been appointed as the new president of the main organization in Bharatpur-1 block, while Priyabrata Ghosh has been given the responsibility of vice-president. In the youth wing, Mohammad Rana has been appointed as the new block youth president, and Tuhin Ghosh as the co-vice-president. Nazma Sultana will head the women's wing, and Abdul Bari will now be the president of the INTTUC labor union.
Organizational changes have also been made in Bharatpur-2 block. Mustafizur Rahman alias Suman has been given the responsibility of president of the main organization in this block. Kazi Nazir Hussain will be the president of the youth wing, while Sahibalohar Majhi will head the women's wing. Raju Chowdhury has been appointed as the new president of INTTUC in this block.
Furthermore, Subir Dhar has been given the responsibility of president of the main organization in Ranaghat-2 block. Changes have also been made in the Ranaghat organizational district committee, with Rupankar Bandyopadhyay appointed as the new general secretary.
According to party sources, through these changes, the Trinamool Congress is trying to strengthen its organization at the grassroots level and infuse new energy among its workers before the elections.
