Mumbai, 24 Dec (HS): Chief Minister Devendra
Fadnavis said that the alliance between Uddhav Thackeray’s Sena (UBT) and Raj
Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navirman Sena (MNS) will not affect the results of the
Mumbai Municipal Corporation. He, however expressed happiness over two brothers
coming together. Both the parties are struggling for their survival in politics,
he remarked.
Addressing the media in Mumbai on Wednesday,
Fadnavis said both the parties have lost base and faith of people due to
frequent change in their policies. Their method of appeasement has shaken their
vote banks. People have favoured the developmental agenda of Bharatiya Janata
Party-led Government, which will be again reflected in the BMC elections, he
said.
Uddhav and Raj Thackeray should introspect why their
leaders and workers left their parties, instead of alleging others for breaking
their parties, Fadnavis remarked.
