Jammu, 22 December (H.S.): BJP organized a massive Karyakarta Samelan under the Atmanirbhar Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan at Urban Farm, Sarore reaffirming the BJP’s unwavering commitment to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a self-reliant and developed India.

BJP Jammu and Kashmir president and Rajya Sabha MP, Sat Sharma, was the chief guest in the programme, which was organized by Party’s Vijaypur constituency. It underscored the spirit of Swadeshi as a national mission, with a strong push for Assembly-level Swadeshi Melas as a grassroots engine to empower local industries and fast-track the journey towards Viksit Bharat by 2047.

Addressing the party workers, BJP Jammu and Kashmir president and Rajya Sabha MP, Sat Sharma laid strong emphasis on the vision of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, stating that India is redefining self-reliance under his decisive leadership. He said that the Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan is not merely an economic programme, but a powerful movement rooted in national self-respect, cultural confidence, and the spirit of Swadeshi.

Sat Sharma called upon party workers to become ambassadors of self-reliance by adopting and promoting Indian-made products, urging everyone to take the pledge of “Har Ghar Swadeshi.” He stressed that organizing Swadeshi Melas at the Assembly level will play a pivotal role in connecting people directly with indigenous products, artisans, and entrepreneurs, thereby accelerating the journey towards a self-reliant and Viksit Bharat by 2047.

DDC Chairman, Samba Keshav Dutt said that under Prime Minister, Modi’s leadership, India has achieved remarkable self-reliance, with everything from needles to missiles now being manufactured within the country. He reiterated that the Abhiyan aims to strengthen indigenous production and reduce dependence on imports.

MLA Vijaypur, Chander Prakash Ganga, said that PM, Modi has embedded the idea of Atmanirbhar Bharat into India’s national character. He highlighted that India has emerged as a dependable global partner while fulfilling its own needs. He added that Atmanirbhar Bharat has become a way of life for every Indian and called upon workers to motivate people at the grassroots level to support local industries and indigenous enterprises.

On the occasion BJP office-bearers and workers collectively took a pledge to adopt and promote Swadeshi products.
