
Bhubaneswar, 22 December (H.S.) : The internal assessment examination for Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) Plus Two students commenced on Monday across Odisha, marking a crucial step ahead of the annual board examinations.
The first phase of the internal assessment will continue until December 31. According to official estimates, as many as 3,73,910 students are appearing for the assessments across colleges in the state.
The evaluations form part of the academic assessment framework for the 2024–26 session and are being conducted simultaneously across institutions to ensure uniformity and transparency in the process.
Meanwhile, practical examinations are scheduled to be held from January 2 to January 15. The second phase of internal assessment will take place between January 5 and January 10. Students who are unable to appear in the first phase will be allowed to sit for the second phase, provided they submit valid reasons for their absence.
CHSE has directed all colleges to complete the evaluation process and submit the assessed answer scripts by January 25, enabling timely compilation and processing of results.
