
Lucknow, 21 Dec (HS): The Uttar Pradesh
government is planning to introduce an AYUSH app, created in conjunction with
IIT-Kanpur, to provide patients with online OPD services and access all
relevant information about AYUSH, according to an official statement published
here on Sunday. The
state-of-the-art AYUSH app, which is being created in conjunction with IIT
Kanpur, will provide patients with online OPD services as well as access to all
key AYUSH information. This effort, according to AYUSH Principal Secretary
Ranjan Kumar, would increase public access to AYUSH healthcare and provide
better openness in medical services.
He
stated that the chief minister intends to make AYUSH methods available to all. According
to the statement, the app, created with the assistance of IIT Kanpur, would
allow patients to make OPD appointments online, reducing the need to wait in
lengthy lines at hospitals and AYUSH centers.
This will save time, minimize crowding, and
bring great relief to older persons, women, and distant patients, according to
the statement. According to the announcement, the app will provide users with
thorough information on Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy, such as
treatments for various ailments, medications, doctor profiles, nearby AYUSH
hospitals and pharmacies, and health advice. The app would also include
information about government plans and programs promoting AYUSH, it said. The
app will be user-friendly, safe, speedy, and trustworthy, assuring patient data
privacy. Future enhancements will include tele-consultation, online reporting,
and digital health records, enabling for professional medical advice from home
while also improving public faith in AYUSH institutions.
