Prayagraj,

21 Dec (HS): Renowned surgeon from Prayagraj, Dr. Santosh Singh, was invited as

a faculty member to the National Surgery Conference held in Kolkata. This

prestigious conference, held under the auspices of the Association of Surgeons

of India, was attended by thousands of senior surgeons, academicians, and

researchers from across the country.

The

three-day conference featured scientific sessions, panel discussions, and

workshops covering various surgical disciplines—general surgery, breast

surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, trauma, minimally invasive surgery, and

robotic surgery. The primary objective of the conference was to share the

latest technologies, research findings, and global guidelines.

Dr.

Santosh Singh shared his views in the faculty session on innovations in breast

surgery and breast cancer treatment. He explained that today, robotic surgery,

minimally invasive surgery, breast cosmetic and oncoplastic techniques, and

cutting-edge diagnostic tools are providing patients with better outcomes, less

pain, and faster recovery. He also underlined that early detection and a

multidisciplinary approach have made revolutionary improvements in breast

cancer treatment possible. During the conference, experts from India and abroad

deliberated on complex cases, case studies, and future technologies.

The

active and effective participation of Prayagraj surgeons on the national stage

is a matter of pride for the city. This not only strengthens the local medical

community's reputation but also sends a message that Prayagraj physicians are

keeping pace with modern medicine at the national level.
