21 Dec (HS): Renowned surgeon from Prayagraj, Dr. Santosh Singh, was invited as
a faculty member to the National Surgery Conference held in Kolkata. This
prestigious conference, held under the auspices of the Association of Surgeons
of India, was attended by thousands of senior surgeons, academicians, and
researchers from across the country.
The
three-day conference featured scientific sessions, panel discussions, and
workshops covering various surgical disciplines—general surgery, breast
surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, trauma, minimally invasive surgery, and
robotic surgery. The primary objective of the conference was to share the
latest technologies, research findings, and global guidelines.
Dr.
Santosh Singh shared his views in the faculty session on innovations in breast
surgery and breast cancer treatment. He explained that today, robotic surgery,
minimally invasive surgery, breast cosmetic and oncoplastic techniques, and
cutting-edge diagnostic tools are providing patients with better outcomes, less
pain, and faster recovery. He also underlined that early detection and a
multidisciplinary approach have made revolutionary improvements in breast
cancer treatment possible. During the conference, experts from India and abroad
deliberated on complex cases, case studies, and future technologies.
The
