
Bareilly, 21 Dec (HS): On the Lucknow-Delhi
national highway in Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly, a 45-year-old man was killed in a
head-on accident between two automobiles caused by severe fog. The incident
occurred on late Saturday night, they added. According to Additional Superintendent
of Police (North) Mukesh Chandra Mishra, victim Rupesh Kumar Agarwal (45), a
resident of the Baradari police station area, worked as an accountant at the
Faridpur Municipal Council and drove himself to work every day.

was returning to Bareilly on Saturday night after ending his work. According to
the officer, when his automobile approached the intersection of Navadiya Jhadha
and the Bithri Chainpur Bridge, it collided with another car traveling in the
other way.
The crash was so violent that both automobiles
were totally wrecked. Police brought Agarwal, who was critically hurt in the
incident, to the hospital, but medics declared him dead, Mishra added. According
to police, the corpse has been submitted for a post-mortem, and the occupants
of the other automobile involved in the collision have yet to be identified.
