
Ballia,
15 Dec (HS): Three young females were reportedly lured and kidnapped in two
different instances in Ballia district on Monday, according to police. According
to the police, a 16-year-old girl from a hamlet near Bairia Police Station was
kidnapped on the evening of December 13 by Rajesh Paswan of Dalpatpur village.
Paswan was booked on Sunday after the father of the girl filed a complaint.
Another
16-year-old girl from another hamlet in the same police station area was
kidnapped the same evening while going to the bathroom. According to police,
the girl was lured by Rohit Verma of Madhubani village, with the assistance of
his brothers Roshan and Golu. The three were booked on Sunday after the girl's
mother complained.
On
Monday, Bairia Circle Officer Mohammad Faheem Quraishi stated that the police
were investigating both crimes. Meanwhile, a 16-year-old girl from a hamlet in
the Garhwar Police Station went missing on December 11 after leaving her family
to take a private school test. Police have filed a case against unnamed
individuals in connection with the teenager's disappearance in response to her
maternal grandfather's allegation.
