Nagpur, 15 Dec (HS): Workers at Koradi Thermal Power

Station (KTPS) experienced problems in breathing on Monday afternoon, following

leakage of Ozone in 60 MW generation unit number 7.

The alarm was sounded immediately and the unit was

evacuated. The workers were rushed to the Indira Gandhi Government Medical

College. The condition of the workers is stated to be stable.

Further investigation into the cause of gas leakage is

in progress.

KTPS is about 14 km from Nagpur.
