
Chennai, 15 December (H.S.): President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to visit Tamil Nadu on Tuesday, December seventeen, as part of her week-long tour to the southern states of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana. The visit to Tamil Nadu is specifically aimed at religious observance before she proceeds for her annual winter sojourn in Telangana.
According to a statement released by the President's Secretariat, President Murmu will travel to Vellore on December seventeen. During her time there, she is scheduled to perform 'darshan' and 'aarti' at the famous Golden Temple.
Following her visit to the temple in Vellore, the President will immediately proceed to Rashtrapati Nilayam in Bolarum, Secunderabad (Telangana), where she will begin her official winter sojourn.
The President's southern tour begins on December sixteen in Karnataka, where she will inaugurate the one thousand sixty-sixth Jayanthi celebrations of Adi Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara Shivayogi Mahaswamiji at Malavalli, Mandya district.
The overall visit concludes on December twenty-two. Security and local administration in Vellore are reportedly making arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of the high-profile visit.
