Haridwar, 9th January (HS): Swami Dayamurthyanand Maharaj, Secretary of Shri Ramakrishna Mission Sevashram, Kankhal informed that on the eve of National Youth Day this year, the Mission is organizing a function in the Sevashram premises on 11th January from 10 am to 12 noon.

He informed that 400 students from 17 schools across the district participated in various competitions organized in the Mission premises recently, which were organized on different days for more than a month.

Swami Ji informed that guests have been invited to distribute prizes to the winners of drawing, quiz, speech and debate competitions. The invited guests include Professor Jitin Singla, Department of Biosciences and Bio Engineering, IIT Roorkee, Raj K Arora, Proprietor, M/s Safeguard Industries, SIDCUL, Haridwar and Ankit Narang, Director, M/s Stitch Solution International Pvt. Limited, SIDCUL, Haridwar.

He informed that cultural programmes will also be presented by the students in this programme. National Youth Day is celebrated every year on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, whose unwavering faith in the potential of youth is deeply connected with the young citizens of the country.
