Mahakumbh
Nagar, 21 January (H.S.): Due to economic inequality, religious conversions are
increasing. Communists and Christian missionaries take advantage of this and
convert people. These things were said by Vishwa Hindu Parishad's central
minister and head of Samajik Samrasata Abhiyan Devji Bhai Rawat while addressing
the All India Saint Congregation organized in Sector 17 of Maha Kumbh Mela
area.
He
said that efforts are being made to divert the Scheduled Caste people from
religion as part of an ideological conspiracy. Work is going on to contact the
children studying in Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe hostels.
Devji
Bhai Rawat said in the saints' gathering that Vishwa Hindu Parishad has been
working for the last 60 years to remove the distortions in Hindu society. Work
is being done to awaken the ideology through Harmony Seminars across the
country. Work is being done to teach skills to the youth of the scheduled
castes so that they can stand on their own feet. Training centers have been
started in every district to make such unemployed youth skilled.
Hindu
Parivar Mitra Yojana is being run by VHP. 500 families are being identified in
each district. In each district, VHP workers will adopt one family from each
Seva Basti and make them Hindu Parivar Mitra. Birth anniversaries of great men
are being celebrated. Visit with family and invite them to your place.
Untouchability is not based on scriptures. We all Hindus are brothers.
Devji
Bhai Rawat said that with the message of harmonious society and strong India, a
Social Harmony Yatra has been taken out by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad Social
Harmony Campaign. During this, Harmony Seminars, Harmony Mahayagya and
Padayatras of Saints have also been held in the service colonies.
