Nagaon (Assam), 02 January (HS): A three-day horse fair is being organised in Kampur Puthimari of Nagaon district. This fair is being celebrated by the people of Puthimari and Morisuti area for the last 75 years.

According to popular belief, wishes are fulfilled by donating a horse in this fair. This is why thousands of devotees participate in this fair in the first three days of the New Year. This fair was being organized without any publicity for the last 75 years, but people's faith in it is increasing each day so much so that now it has become a symbol of faith.

The organizers of the fair said that the fair now needs government assistance for extensive publicity and support.
