Bhubaneswar, 2 January (H.S.): The BJP government, led by Mohan Majhi, implemented a significant reshuffle among senior IAS officers in the state on Thursday.

According to a notification from the General Administration and Public Grievance (GA-PG) Department of the Government of Odisha, N.B.S. Rajput, IAS (RR-1999), Principal Secretary to the Governor, will continue to hold the additional role of Principal Secretary to the Government in the Public Enterprises Department.

Temjenwapang Ao, IAS (RR-2000), currently the Commissioner-cum-Secretary to the Government in the Public Enterprises Department, has been appointed as the Special Secretary to the Government in the Planning & Convergence Department.

Bhupendra Singh Poonia, IAS (RR-2008), Managing Director of IPICOL, who also holds the additional position of Special Secretary to the Government in the Industries Department and Managing Director of IDCO, will retain his additional role as Commissioner-cum-Secretary to the Government in the Skill Development & Technical Education Department. The additional appointment of N.B.S. Rajput, IAS, as Principal Secretary to the Government in the Skill Development & Technical Education Department will cease from the date Bhupendra Singh Poonia, IAS, assumes the position.

Prem Chandra Chaudhary, IAS (RR-2010), Director of Agriculture & Food Production in Odisha, who is also the Managing Director of Odisha Agro Industries Corporation Limited, has been appointed as the Director of Textiles & Handlooms, Odisha, Bhubaneswar.
