Guwahati, 02 January (HS): An important meeting of his cabinet colleagues and all BJP MLAs was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma. After the meeting, Assam Health and Family Welfare Minister Ashok Singhal told that in this meeting, while the work done in the year 2024 was reviewed, the government's further strategy for the current year 2025 was discussed in detail. During this, there was also an exchange of views among the MLAs.

The minister said that under the visionary leadership of the Chief Minister, all the MLAs are fully committed to building a clean, prosperous and developed Assam.

After the meeting, State BJP President Bhabesh Kalita said that on the second day of the New Year, a long critical review meeting was held today at the Lok Seva Bhawan, Janata Bhawan campus with cabinet ministers of the NDA unit, Bharatiya Janata Party MLAs, MPs as well as Chief Executive Members of the Autonomous Council of the BJP. BJP President Bhabesh Kalita was also present in the meeting with the MLAs.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister briefed on the development works of the constituencies in the past year and issues of public welfare schemes being implemented and discussed the development works to be undertaken in the new year for the progress and welfare of the people.

The meeting also highlighted the visionary leadership of the Chief Minister in preparing a roadmap for a developed Assam in this new year.
