Jhargram, 02 January (HS). The dead body of a Group C employee was recovered hanging from a noose from Jhargram Medical College and Hospital on Thursday morning.
As per information, the hospital superintendent first saw the dead body of Vishwajit Sarkar alias Paltu hanging in the car shed of the hospital premises and shared the information to Jhargram police station. On information, the police reached the spot, took the body in their custody and sent it for post-mortem.
Hospital superintendent Indranil Sarkar said that the hanging body of the Group C employee was recovered this morning. When the matter was reported to the police station, the police arrived and recovered the body. The police is investigating the matter. Vishwajit had been working as a driver in the hospital for a long time. He lived with his family in the quarters built in the hospital premises. Like every day, he went out with his scooter this morning and took tea and talked to the people around. But suddenly as the day progressed, Vishwajit's body was found hanging in the car shed of the hospital.
Jhargram SDPO Shamim Biswas said that the body of a hospital employee has been recovered. The matter is being investigated.
