2 January (H.S.): In a first, the Global Ayush Mahakumbh was inaugurated by
Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani on Thursday. The event is being organized by Sanjeevani
Welfare Society, a well-known NGO in the field of AYUSH in Prayagraj, from January
2 to 6 at NCZCC.
Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani said that by continuing such programs,
the awareness of AYUSH and the medical system will benefit the general public
and such programs should continue to be held in future also.
President Dr. Ashok Kumar Dwivedi said that
the organization has been working in the field of AYUSH medical system since
2013. In which this is done by honouring all the AYUSH doctors, creating AYUSH
medical awareness and benefiting the needy people through AYUSH treatment. With
the aim of maintaining the grandeur, divinity and dignity of Maha Kumbh this
year on the holy land of Prayagraj and to hoist the flag of AYUSH medicine on
the world stage, the Society has organized Ayush Mahakumbh / Global AYUSH Expo.
In this Maha Kumbh, there will be 36 types of sections, distribution centers of
various types of Naturopathic, Homeopathic, Ayurvedic and Unani medicines,
various food stalls, crafts, home industries, handicrafts and products made
from natural herbs, naturopathy, yoga and other services. There are service
centers as well as free OPD arrangements.
Organization
Secretary Shravan Shukla said that many sales centers, AYUSH exhibitions and
stalls have been set up in the Global AYUSH Expo. In which sales centers
related to handloom and handicraft industries and food and other natural herbs,
Ayurvedic herbs have been created, which everyone can enjoy. On this occasion,
Project Manager of Sanjeevani Welfare Society Dr. Rahul Shukla, Dr. Manoj Kumar
Srivastava, Janardan Singh, Saqib Siddiqui, Uma Pandey, Ashu Pandey, Ashish
Hemkar, Rachna Sonkar, Shreya Mehta, Tanya Singh, Reema Shukla, Sarjit Gautam,
Tanuj Sharma and others were present.
