New Delhi, 20 September (HS): Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah on Friday met the victims of Naxal violence from Chhattisgarh at his residence in New Delhi. 55 violence-affected people from Left Wing Extremism-affected areas of Chhattisgarh met the Union Home Minister under the aegis of Bastar Shanti Samiti.

Addressing the victims of Naxal violence, Amit Shah said that these people, victims of Naxal violence, are fighting for their human rights. The mind is extremely saddened to see their suffering.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said, We will uproot Naxalism and the idea of ​​Naxalism from this country and establish peace. The Narendra Modi government has been successful in eliminating Naxalism in the entire country except 4 districts of Bastar. The date of 31.03.2026 has been fixed to bid final farewell to Naxalism from this country. I assure you that Naxalism will be eradicated before that.

Amit Shah appealed to the Naxalites to surrender before the law and give up the path of arms. He said that in many places in the Northeast and Kashmir, many people have left arms and joined the mainstream. You are also welcome to join the mainstream but if this does not happen then we will start a campaign against it and will also get success in it.
