18 September (H.S.): Due to torrential rains in Italy Baja village of Rath

area, a woman sleeping on the roof of a kutcha house collapsed on the neighbouring

wall and died after being crushed to death.According to the information, 65-year-old Ramkumar's wife Veerpal was

sleeping in their mud house when the wall of neighbour Jagdish collapsed due to

rain.

Due to the collapse of the wall, the roof of the kutcha house collapsed,

due to which Ramkumar was buried under the debris. After the incident, family

members and villagers worked hard to pull out the woman's body from the debris.

She used to help her husband in farming and household work.

There is a wave of

mourning in the family due to the death of the woman on Wednesday. The police

have filled the Panchnama of the body of the deceased woman and sent it for

post-mortem.
