Leh, 26 July (H.S.): The ‘Fire and Fury Corps’ Army Air Defence Brigade successfully organised ‘Pedal for Patriots: Kargil Vijay Diwas Ride’, a cycle rally from Leh to Khardung La. This event is a part of the ongoing celebrations being held in honour of the Silver Jubilee of Kargil Vijay Diwas in remembrance of the valiant heroes who sacrificed their lives for our nation’s security and integrity in the icy cold heights of Kargil.

The rally commenced from Spituk, Leh and concluded at Khardung La, covering a total distance of 40 Km. Officers, JCOs and soldiers participated in the event demonstrating unwavering dedication and spirit. The event was marked by a vibrant display of patriotism, with cyclists carrying flags and banners commemorating the heroes of Kargil War. The event showcased the unity and mutual admiration of the participants for the courageous warriors who laid down their lives for our nation and kept the flag high.

The rally not only served as a tribute but also a reminder of the spirit of unity and resilience that defines our nation. The event also fostered unity and patriotism among the participants reinforcing their love and commitment for the nation. Their sacrifices ensure our nation’s security and their legacy inspires us to strive for a united and strong India.
