Sambhal, 30 June (HS): A bank manager allegedly shot himself dead in the Chaudasi district here on Sunday. Sadanand (42) was discovered dead on a roadside in the Maulagarh region. Superintendent of Police (SP) Kuldeep Singh Gunawat stated the man's body had a gunshot wound to the head and a weapon was recovered in his hands.

According to authorities, Sadanand, a Bihar native, worked as an assistant manager at Prathama Bank in Bilari, Uttar Pradesh.

Sadanand's family told police that he was under job pressure, according to the SP, who also stated that the body has been submitted for post-mortem and that an investigation is ongoing.
