Ballia, 11 June (HS): District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar conducted a surprise inspection of Vikas Bhawan on Tuesday. During inspection, eight officers including the CDO of Vikas Bhawan were found absent. Expressing displeasure on this, the District Magistrate has given a notice. He went to the rooms of various departments and checked the attendance register of the employees and officers and gave necessary directions.

During the inspection, the District Magistrate seemed very angry over the absence of officers. He said that the Lok Sabha elections are over, now all the officers should get involved in their departmental work. Any kind of negligence will not be tolerated. He directed the officers to improve their working style and reach the office on time to solve the problems of the common people.

Apart from the Chief Development Officer, the absent officers included Social Welfare Officer, Backward Class Welfare Officer, Assistant Engineer of Minor Irrigation, Rural Development Officer, And Executive Officer and Assistant Engineer of Engineering Department, Youth Welfare Officer and Minority Welfare Officer are also included. The District Magistrate directed to stop one day's salary of all the absent officers.
