New Delhi, June 11 (HS): union Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari held a meeting with officials after taking charge on Tuesday. State ministers were present on this occasion. Before taking charge, Punjab Governor and Chandigarh Administrator Banwarilal Purohit met him at his Delhi residence and wished him.

According to authorized sources of the union Road and Transport Ministry, the Road and National Highways Ministry is now preparing to end the toll booth system in the country. Now toll will be collected through satellite on all national highways and expressways of the country. It has been successfully tested on Dwarka Expressway.
