Guwahati, March 29 (HS). Assam State Congress President Bhupen Bora has reacted sharply to this statement of Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, in which the Chief Minister has commented on the fate of Bhupen Bora. While talking to journalists here today, Bhupen Bora said that the biggest misunderstanding of the Chief Minister who talks about my (Bhupen Bora's) fate. He thinks that he (Himanta) will always remain in the same post. The Congress President said that in Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta, Bhagwan has said that where you are today, someone else was there earlier. The Congress President said that the Chief Minister should not forget this truth.

In response to a question, Congress President Bora said that BJP has not won any election till date under the leadership of Himanta Biswa Sarma. He said that the 2014 elections were won under the leadership of Narendra Modi. Whereas, the elections of 2019 and 2021 were won under the leadership of Sarbananda Sonowal.

The Congress President said that the people of Assam do not give that much importance to the words of the Chief Minister. During this, the Congress President gave direct answers to many other questions of the journalists.
