He said that most of the Congress leaders and workers of Golaghat have met him. All of them are going to formally join BJP before the elections.

The Chief Minister was talking to journalists after attending a program at Numaligarh in Golaghat district today. The Chief Minister said that today he has held a joint meeting with the leaders and workers of BJP and Assam Gana Parishad of Golaghat.

A strategy related to the first phase of voting has been prepared in the meeting. He said that he was in Jorhat on Wednesday night. Such a meeting was held there also. In the first nights, he had been sitting continuously with NDA leaders and workers in Dibrugarh, Lakhimpur and Sonitpur. He said that which leader should go where in the elections and what kind of strategy should be prepared were discussed in detail in these meetings.

The Chief Minister said that all the leaders and workers of Congress including State Congress President Bhupen Bora will join BJP from now till 2026 elections. In response to a question, the Chief Minister said that Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra further broken the Congress.

He said that everyone is welcome in BJP. Bharatiya Janata Party is committed to developing the country and the state by taking everyone along.

In response to a question, the Chief Minister said that it is now certain to win 13 out of 14 seats in Assam. Voting is to be held in the last phase on one Dhubri seat. Even in Dhubri, BJP's position is strong in more than half of the assembly constituencies. At the same time, the candidate given by Assam Gana Parishad from NDA alliance is also very strong. In such a situation, it will not be a big deal if BJP wins the 14th seat also. During this, the Chief Minister gave direct answers to many other questions of the journalists.
