Etawah, 27 April (HS): A 28-year-old man and his three-year-old daughter died on Saturday, while his wife was badly injured, when their motorbike crashed head-on with a tractor on the Agra-Etawah Highway in the Jaswantnagar region of this Uttar Pradesh district, police said.

A brick-laden tractor approaching from the opposite side collided with the motorbike, killing Mainpuri resident Riyazuddin and his daughter Gungun, according to Jaswantnagar SHO Kapil Dubey.

Riyazuddin's wife, Shama Begum (25) was critically hurt in the accident and has been brought to the hospital, he said. According to Dubey, Riyazuddin was on his way to his in-laws' house in Auraiya district with his wife and kid when the tragedy happened early Saturday. He said that the bodies had been sent for a post-mortem examination.
