Arambagh, February 12 (HS): Amidst all the speculations and whispers, Dev finally broke his silence during the administrative meeting of Arambag on Monday. He said that he will remain in politics.

Ghatal MP Deb was also seen with Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on the stage of the Administrative meeting in Arambagh on Monday and was seen speaking about the Ghatal Master Plan. He said that he had trusted the Center for ten years, this time he has faith in ''Didi''.

In fact, for the last few days there has been a huge debate on Deb''s political future. But on Monday Dev himself said, ''''I like to talk clearly. I have returned again for the people of Ghatal. I have been fighting with the Center for ten years so that they approve the Ghatal Master Plan. But they did not do so.''''

Deb requested the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee that no matter who wins the Lok Sabha elections, the dream of the Ghatal Master Plan should be materialized only by the Chief Minister.

Speaking on the stage on the day, the Chief Minister said that after Deb told her about the Ghatal Master Plan, she had already discussed the matter with the Chief Secretary. The Chief Minister also assured that they are preparing a Ghatal Master Plan. This project is not being implemented because the Central Government is not giving permission. ''I am directing that the plan should be prepared and the work should be done within 3-4 years without any stoppage,'' the Chief Minister said.
