Morigaon (Assam), 26 December (HS): A terrible road accident took place in Da Para Beltala Dalang area of Kachua in the district. A person killed on the spot after his bike (AS-02AP 9582) collided with a roadside mile post.

Local people saw the body of the deceased in the morning. The deceased has been identified as Sheikh Farid (40). The deceased is said to be a resident of Chankhola in Kachuwa.

The exact cause of the bike collision is not yet clear, although some local people are suspecting that an unknown vehicle hit him and left him at the spot. Police are investigating the matter.
