Jorhat (Assam), 26 December (HS): A massive fire incident took place in Titabar. The house of two persons named Reb Kachari and Rabin Kachari caught fire in Falengichuk of Titabar.

The fire is suspected to have started from the burning wood located behind the house. Property worth lakhs of rupees was burnt to ashes in this fire.

The fire department vehicle could not reach the spot on time and due to lack of water, two houses were completely burnt. Police and the fire department are investigating the incident.
