Imphal, 26 December (HS). Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh on Thursday informed on his social media handle X that he visited the Manipur Police Training Center at Pangei and inspected the recently built new barracks there, which will soon be used for training purposes.
The Chief Minister said that keeping in view the current law and order situation in the state, the newly recruited constables will be given special training. This step is necessary to increase the strength and readiness of our police force, so that security and peace can be ensured in Manipur.
He further said that we are committed to provide the best facilities and training to our policemen so that they can effectively face any challenge.
Inspecting the new police barracks built at the Manipur Police Training Center at Pangei, the Chief Minister said that through these facilities, the newly recruited personnel will get the necessary training and modern equipment, which will enhance their ability to maintain law and order in the state.
He also said that the security personnel who have recently completed their training will be given additional training for a few more months so that a special team can be prepared which is ready to deal with any emergency in the state.
The Chief Minister said that the police are the backbone of the society and we will give top priority to strengthening them.
